The company was established in the Eastern Bay in 1959 and joined the Professionals group in 1983. We are the longest serving real estate company in the area and proudly celebrated 50 years in business in September 2009. During this time the company has continued to maintain its long held position as a market leader in the Eastern Bay of Plenty. Proud of our reputation as a professional, innovative, progressive company we constantly strive for higher standards.

When you deal with the Professionals Whakatane you deal with highly qualified and trained people who have an extensive knowledge of the local market and work to ensure you will receive the best service in real estate. We are a team of 20 involved in Sales, Property Management, Marketing, Admin and Management who have been recognized over the years within the Professionals group and also by the Real Estate Institute of NZ for excellence in our work.

As a member of the Professionals group, each office is locally owned and managed and when you deal with Professionals Whakatane, you deal with people committed to and involved with the community. As a group, Professionals are a major sponsor of the Child Cancer Foundation of NZ, with contributions now in excess of $3.4 million. Professionals Whakatane contribute by providing a donation to the Child Cancer foundation from every sale made and also with the Professionals Group, sponsor a number of holiday homes around the country for cancer patients and their families.

Company Director's Kathryn McKay and Maurice and Lee-Anne Butler together combine a wealth of experience and professional expertise. We are proud to be heading a company with such a long association with the Whakatane District and enjoy the challenge of operating the business in a constantly evolving industry and competitive and vibrant local market.
